Praycation

We spent this last weekend on a retreat with our church at the Zephyr Point Presbyterian Conference Center in Lake Tahoe. Set right on the rocky shore it was the perfect place to get away and take in God’s majesty. We admired the stars, avoided the bears, and praised God together in song. It was really cool to be at a place that is reserved strictly for use by Christian, community building organizations. There were things like this Portal of Prayer and beautiful, wall-hung quilts with embroidered Scriptures. You don’t get that kind of godly influence at the Hilton.
