Cheerios started putting some kids books inside the box and since we have a kid now, and feed her lots of Cheerios, the books were a nice bonus. Then one evening I was reading my little one this book…
…when I noticed that the author/illustrator was, low and behold, JOE FENTON! I thought, “Wait…when did I do this?” But I didn’t do this. There’s another illustrator out there sporting my identity. That might be a bit too strong of a statement. But there is another guy out there illustrating his heart out, who happens to share my name. I actually see some striking similarities between his style and mine. I found some more of his work at www.joefentonart.com. I thought about contacting him to see if he wants to team up. We could be twice as prolific.
