Cosmote wha..?

So what is this blog all about and why the heck is it called “Cosmote”!?

I have been doing a unique, pen and ink doodling style, spawning patterns, characters and scenery from a basic liquid/bubble pattern. It all started one night when I was on a long phone conversation and began to fill a page with continuous imagery. I kept at it long after the phone conversation was over and when that page was full I started another, but this time the paper was bigger. I did another and another…

10 years, a design degree, and many professional design projects later this doodling style has not changed all that much. After intent study and reading on fractal patterns, chaos and string theory and their supposed opposition to the unity of the Cosmos; I have determined that there is no chaos, only varying patterns that project themselves in playful harmony as members of this vast Universe. I realized that this freestyle art is my own personal fractal… a little snapshot of how the Cosmos manifests its self through me (in visual form). My theory is that if I capture this style is small doses and contain it in blog form I can gain insight into my own fractal. So why Cosmote? Well, it seems like the suitable name for tangible fragments of Cosmos.
